Who was JK?

That would be Jimmy King, our black lab mix who graced us with his presence for 15+ years.  From training him as a pup to all of the dog park visits, mountain hikes, boat and car rides...to heartbreakingly watching him live his last 6 months in diapers while his legs grew weaker and weaker before they eventually gave out on him.  Along the way we shared lots of great memories and experiences together. 

Even though he had a rough time at the end, it was still an experience I woudn't trade, as he made our lives so much brighter by just being his silly, goofy, and somes completely dumbfounding self 🙂.  The entire experience was a blessing, as well as a lesson in kindness, love, patience, and compassion.

We ended up having to put him to sleep during the same week I was choosing a domain name for this website, so I figured his initials would be the most appropriate tribute to our longime friend.

Rest in peace big dude - we really enjoyed our journey with you!
